Machu Picchu! - Coffee or Guinea Pig Farmer?

So, we got back to the lodge but headed down the hill a bit to taste extremely fresh coffee and see kinda how it's made locally.  Yes, dear, I bought a bag of coffee for you.

Well, we weren't quite expecting the demonstration to include a dozen or more guinea pig attendees.  They were everywhere, but don't worry - our guide assured us most of them would be eaten around Christmas time.

As for the coffee, we saw the machine where beans are separated and witnessed the coffee being roasted, ground, and brewed.

I can't seem to control the order in which these pictures show up in the thread (fixed).  For now, just accept that the jumbled photos more or less reflect the chaotic experience.

On a side note, I don't drink coffee and thus feel inadequate to comment on the quality.  My wife will have to let us know. :)
